Nigel Hook Supports the
Helping Our Heroes Foundation

WASHINGTON D.C. (October, 2004) — Working with contacts from his involvement with USO Tours, Nigel Hook had the opportunity to contribute website development (via his company DATASKILL) for the launching of the Helping Our Heroes Foundation. The foundation provides funding, services, and volunteers to augment the support of our military injured in either Operation Enduring Freedom (Afghanistan) or Operation Iraqi Freedom.

Nigel Hook Spends Holidays with Deployed Troops

KANDAHAR, AFGHANISTAN (January, 2003) — During a New Year’s Eve dinner, Nigel Hook, world champion American Power Boat Association driver thanks U.S. Army soldiers stationed in Afghanistan for their work in the Global War on Terrorism. Hook, along with Winston Cup Series NASCAR drivers Jerry Nadeau and Geoff Bodine, Raybestos Northwest Busch Series driver Gary Lewis and U.S. Army sponsored National Hot Rod Association Top Fuel dragster pilot Tony Schumacher spent the holiday touring military bases in Afghanistan, Kyrgyzstan and Kuwait.

Nigel Hook Invited to Visit USS Abraham Lincoln

Early Thursday morning on December 13th, 2001, Captain Richard Perkins called me. "We have an opening for you in our distinguished visitor (DV) program on Monday and Tuesday to visit the USS Abraham Lincoln, Captain Hook. You’ll be making an arrested landing and a catapult takeoff from the flight deck."
